Visa

Please prepare the following required documents to obtain your visa:

After submission of documents, visa processing can take up to 3 months so please start your process as soon as possible. You will not be able to enter the country without your ″Religious Activity Visa.

Documents
1. Copy of Your passport
2. Two facial pictures (4cm×3cm) (Same style as your passport picture)

    a. Do not wear anything on your head.
    b. No background.
    c. This will be used for your certificate of eligibility.

3. Information about yourself

    a. Education — SAMPLE
    b. Employment
    c. Ministry at church
    d. Religious study history (seminary, mission training school, etc) — SAMPLE

    i. Please try to write as much information as possible because the Japanese government
    will decide whether or not they issue you a visa depending on your experiences in
    ministry, mission/church training, and education.

    ii. Copy of your diploma or certificate and/or an official detailed letter from your church
    describing your ministry involvement.

4. Letter of Recommendation from your church or sending organization

    a. A length of your stay
    b. A list of what you’ll be doing in Japan — SAMPLE

5. A photocopy of your church’s registration with the government — SAMPLE

6. A photocopy of a brochure from your church

7. A document showing the relationship between the sending church and J-House — SAMPLE
