After graduating from Fuller Theological Seminary in the USA, Katsuya and his wife Miki started a church plant in September 1999 in Japan. The name of our church is J-House (Jesus House).

The target group of J-House is Generation X especially university students. They have a lot of free time and they are looking for the meaning of life. Also many of them are interested in English and international cultures. These can be effective tools to reach Japanese university students for Christ.

We have witnessed a lot of amazing things that God has done during these 11 years! More than 120 people have been baptized, weekly meetings of more than 200 people attendance. These are really great blessings as a Japanese church. We want to give all the praise to the Lord.

But, we are sensing more and more blessings, hundreds of people saved, and more committed disciples in the coming years!

We are looking for about 5-6 people who can commit for 1 year or 2 year (we prefer more). Japan is not a good place to do ministry with just one missionary. J-House has made a team of international missionaries from Japan and abroad that we call Jesus Soldiers! We can encourage and help each other. This way we can build a more effective ministry. Step out in faith and contact us!
