Come & serve together

J-House Profile
Katsuya and Miki started a church planting in September of 1999 in Japan, after graduating from Fuller Theological Seminary in USA. The name of our church is J-House (Jesus House).

The target group of J-House is Generation X ¡©especially university students. They have a lot of free time and they are looking for the meaning of life. Also many of them are interested in English and international cultures. These can be an effective tool to reach Japanese university students for Christ.

We have witnessed a lot of amazing things that God has done during these 7 years ¡© more than 120 people have been baptized, weekly meetings of more than 200 people attendance. These are really great blessings as a Japanese church. We want to give all the praise to the Lord.

But, we are sensing more and more blessings, hundreds of people saved, and more committed disciples in the coming years!

We are looking for about 5-6 people who can commit for 1 year or 2 year (we prefer more). Japan is not a good place to do ministry with one missionary. J-House will plan to make a team missionary team with staff at least 12 people. We can encourage and help each other. This way we can build a more effective ministry. Step out in faith and contact us! ¡¡

Plan B
J-House will pay you monthly salary of 40,000 yen. J-House will also provide a nice room (might have roommate). J-House will ask you to pay the following things = Money for food, insurance, Telephone bill, and airplane fee.

Since J-House is a church with many young people, we are not so rich. Therefore, we prefer the people who can go with plan A, but if you cannot J-House is willing to invest money for mission with Plan B.

Even if you go with Plan B, please try to raise support from your network. You can survive with 40,000 yen but people pray for you more when they send you money. It is important to have intercessors behind you. We believe in the provision and blessings of God.
